“End Of An Era” is the new 3 song EP slated for release on Halloween 2021 on Wipeout Records under the Sub-Culture Label. These songs were recorded in Syracuse,NY during the Covid lockdown at the infamous Moletrax Studio. The EP features Paul Doherty on drums and vocals from the legendary Syracuse Punk Band The Trend. Paul sang lead vocals and played drums on the rare and kick ass Trend 45 “Band-Aid / Electric Chair”. The EP features 2 original tunes written by Bob Cat and a cover of the Sex Pistols ( Cook ’n Jones) song “Silly Thing”!

S.F.B. aka (Shit For Brains) is an early 80’s Melodic Punk Rock based out of New York and features original members Neno Nasty on Lead Guitar & Vocals, Bob Cat on Guitar & Vocals, and David Lee Mau on Bass & Vocals. S.F.B. shared the stage with punk bands like Youth Brigade, 76% Uncertain, The Catatonics, 1.4.5., The Enemies, Wreck ’n Crew and more.! Belvy K. was the original drummer and later played with 7 Seconds, U.K. Subs, D-Generation and Libertine.

“End Of An Era” is the title track and looks back on the reality of dreams falling apart and the harsh reality of living and losing in life. S.F.B. gives a nod out to Johnny Thunders and their musical roots with their wall of sound guitars and Big Sing-Along Choruses. “Sucker For A Psycho” is a bit tongue in cheek song about meeting a lover who can be a bit Crazy and well Psycho. The song spotlights S.F.B.’s NY Punk Rock Style and ends with a catchy guitar riff and Ramones-like chant. “Silly Thing” is a cover of a Sex Pistols song and features Fred Mann of Buffalo’s Punk Rock Pioneers The Enemies on back up vocals.

So there it is a brand new EP from S.F.B. with 2 other recordings to follow in 2022.!
